National Coffee Day

National Coffee Day is taking place around the world on 1st October and we are gearing up for the big day.  To celebrate we will be promoting a giveaway before National Coffee Day on our training course Puravidauniversity.co.uk – keep an eye out!

In the meantime here are quick three facts about why Costa Rican coffee is one of the best in the world.

  1. Costa Rica is the only country in the world where it is illegal to produce any type of coffee other than 100% Arabica –  the highest quality.
  2. Costa Rica has only two seasons – rainy and dry season. Both are the perfect weather conditions to grow coffee plants. The micro tropical climates, mountainous landscapes and volcanic ash in the soil contribute to producing coffee beans that are rich in aroma, body, flavour and acidity of the coffee.
  3. There is love and dedication put in to making the perfect cup of coffee. Traditional methods of inspecting each bean and picking only the ones that are matured instead of  picking all the beans from the plant are still practiced today by farmers. This is important to our farmers as it’s a way of ensuring every cup of coffee is the best blend.
