In the month of November Costa Rica Tourist Board and 24 key partners traveled around the UK hosting a series of training and dinner evenings for agents in Glasgow, Manchester and London. The events were a chance for agents to meet key ground agents, hoteliers and tour operators to discuss all things Costa Rica.
The relaxed evening consisted of agents receiving passports at the start of the evening and a mission to collect stamps from all the agents in order to enter their passport in to the prize draw, for a chance to win a place on the 2018 MEGA FAM to Costa Rica. The only way agents could obtain a stamp was by talking to partners and learning from them, once the partner was satisfied they would stamp the agents passport. Six agents from Glasgow and Manchester were chosen and five from the London for our 2018 Costa Rica MEGA FAM. In to total we gave away 17 places. The final place will be given away shortly from our survey prize draw!
The second part of the evening was a sit down dinner giving agents and partners a chance to network over a 3 course dinner inspired by the region, following on with a quiz testing how much the agents learned during the evening. Each team member of the winning team received a luxury hamper!
Overall all three evenings were a success and agents have been very complimentary. Thank you to all those who attended and participated.
